The Chevrolet dealership in Clovis, California came to me with an idea to create trucker hats for the annual Clovis Rodeo. The dealership had physical ephemera from previous years’ rodeos and wanted to incorporate those, coupled with Western type, and historical slogans. To achieve this, I redrew the bucking bronco logo and the Clovis Rodeo CR brand icon. There were over 25 iterations of these lockups and several different hat silhouettes in various color options. What you see is what we eventually landed on. I included some of the logo process work, highlighting the journey to the final product.
