Project Roles: Concept Design // Competition Finalist

I am a fan and season ticket holder for my local semi-pro soccer teams Ballard FC and Salmon Bay FC in Seattle, WA. These are brother and sister clubs for local Division 1 college athletes to play throughout the summer to continue their development.

2025 was the inaugural season of Salmon Bay FC, so to celebrate, the club decided to have fans design a two-sided scarf. As a soccer fanatic and designer, I had to participate. My idea for the concept was to keep it simple and make it legible when held aloft by fellow fans at matches. I took inspiration from vintage English Premier League scarves as well as the local neighborhood’s fishing and Nordic roots.
